Practise the content. Understand the marks. Improve the next answer.
This GCSE revision area is being built around realistic questions, worked marking guidance and clearer next steps. Higher and Foundation Biology, Chemistry and Physics Units 1 and 2 are now available alongside Engineering Design, Product Design and Fashion and Textiles, with the teaching-from-2026 Double Award also available.

Engineering Design
GCSE Design and Technology · Unit 1
The new qualification uses a 1 hour 30 minute digital Unit 1 examination worth 80 marks and 30%, plus a Unit 2 Design Project worth 70%. This tool focuses only on Unit 1 knowledge and application for the Engineering Design pathway.
The Product Design revision tool uses the same 1 hour 30 minute, 80-mark Unit 1 structure, with randomised mocks, topic targeting, guided marking and printable reports. All contextual visuals are newly recreated HWB illustrations designed around the question context.
The Fashion and Textiles revision tool uses the same 1 hour 30 minute, 80-mark Unit 1 structure, with randomised mocks, topic targeting, guided marking and printable reports.
The official WJEC progression qualification for learners ready to extend beyond GCSE Mathematics and Numeracy. It develops deeper reasoning, formal proof and challenging mathematical problem solving.
Teaching from 2026 · Foundation and Higher · Units 1-6
A dedicated pathway for the new specification, with 75-minute papers using the correct 56- or 64-mark structure and separate recognition of Unit 7 Scientific Enquiry.
Mathematics, Science and Design and Technology, one clear revision approach.
Mathematics and Numeracy now sits alongside Higher and Foundation Biology, Chemistry and Physics, The Sciences Double Award, Engineering Design, Product Design and Fashion and Textiles. The science tools cover both written units with 105-minute, 80-mark practice papers, topic-focused practice, quizzes, Answer Detective and guided marking.
All illustrated Mathematics and Science contexts use original HWB outline-style diagrams. Supplied past papers are used to check assessment style and context, but scanned paper artwork is not shipped in the website.
The Engineering revision suite concentrates on knowledge and application for Unit 1. It uses six coherent product or system contexts, limits each question part to five marks and avoids Unit 2 design-project evaluation.
The question bank is independently written using the specification and the style of historical Engineering Design papers as guidance. All local illustrations in the public tool were created for The Hwb Collective CIC and do not reproduce WJEC past-paper artwork. Official WJEC papers, the sample assessment and Question Bank are linked externally with approval; their question wording and artwork are not reproduced in this tool. The current Engineering bank has also been reviewed and refined against the uploaded legacy past papers and mark schemes to improve wording, coverage and Unit 1 suitability.

How to use it well
1
Attempt first
Complete the question without opening a model answer. Retrieval is part of the revision.
2
Mark with evidence
Work with a partner, parent, carer or teacher where possible. Find the exact idea in the original answer before awarding a point.
3
Write one target
Identify whether the gap was knowledge, explanation, application, accuracy or timing.
