Information we may collect
Depending on the service, this may include contact details, enquiry information, workshop or partnership details, CV Builder information, technical security records, privacy choices and optional communication preferences. The standard CV Builder does not require a date of birth.
Website statistics and hosting records
IONOS hosts the website and provides SiteAnalytics. SiteAnalytics does not use analytics cookies. IONOS states that IP addresses are anonymised directly after transmission and that it stores aggregate technical information rather than information that identifies individual visitors. This can include the requested page, referrer, browser and device type, operating system, time of access and approximate location derived from an anonymised IP address.
The Hwb Collective uses only aggregate totals and trends to understand whether the website is being used and which services need improvement. We do not use website statistics for advertising, profiling, personalised content or decisions about individual people. Why we use information
We use personal information to provide requested services, respond to enquiries, deliver CVs, operate secure return and deletion routes, manage programmes, meet safeguarding or legal responsibilities, improve service security and send optional updates only where an appropriate choice has been made.
Lawful bases
The relevant lawful basis depends on the purpose and may include steps connected with a requested service, legal obligation, legitimate interests or consent. Legitimate interests may include operating, securing and improving the website where this does not override people’s rights. Consent is not automatically used for every activity. Optional electronic marketing is kept separate from service communication.
Who information may be shared with
Information may be processed through carefully selected service providers used for IONOS website hosting and SiteAnalytics, Google Workspace, the CV Builder, secure email delivery, payments and organisational administration. Information may also be shared where required by law or safeguarding responsibilities. Supplier and processor records are reviewed as services change.
How long information is kept
Information is kept only for as long as necessary for the purpose, legal duties, safeguarding, financial records or agreed programme evidence. Service-specific periods are explained within the relevant service and must match the live implementation and controlled retention schedule. Where verification is still in progress, that status is stated openly.
Your rights
You may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal information, object to some uses, receive certain information in a portable format, or withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis. Use the data request page or email privacy@thehwbco.com.
Complaints
Please contact us first so that we can investigate. You also have the right to raise concerns with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
