What the service provides
The CV Builder helps a user organise information and create a PDF CV. It is a support tool, not professional recruitment, legal or careers advice.
Accuracy
Users are responsible for checking names, dates, qualifications, contact details and statements before using the CV. Information should be truthful and should not disclose confidential information belonging to another person or organisation.
No guaranteed outcome
Using the service does not guarantee employment, an interview, admission to education or a particular decision by an employer or training provider.
Free and paid options
The standard CV is free. The optional £5 custom-design service is separate and does not improve a user’s entitlement to the free service.
Acceptable use
Users must not attempt to disrupt the service, access another person’s record, upload unlawful content or use the service to impersonate someone else.
Young users and support
Young users should seek support from a trusted adult, school or youth professional where they need help understanding what information to include or share.
Availability
The service may be changed, paused or withdrawn for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons. Important documents should be downloaded and retained by the user.
